One of the most beautiful places in La Antigua is the convent of Las Capuchinas. This structure is partially destroyed and partially in good state. It is divided into a museum and into the offices of the National Council for the Protection of Antigua Guatemala. Beneath the structure lies a subterrean chamber which purpose is unknown.
